Managing Director

Louise Thomas is the Co-Head of Manager Research. Ms. Thomas is responsible for maintaining and establishing relationships with investment managers, managing the due diligence process and monitoring performance. Previously, Ms. Thomas worked at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in international equities. She focused on European and UK equities and worked closely with the international equity research teams in New York and London to deliver research and ideas to institutional clients in the US.

Ms. Thomas has an MBA with concentrations in International Finance and Marketing from Columbia University. She received a BA in Economics and Fine Arts from Colgate University. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate work, Ms. Thomas spent time abroad where she studied in England, Eastern Europe, Japan and Egypt.

Ms. Thomas is an advocate for improving the quality of care available to children. She founded Junior's Closet of East Orange, a children's shop that rewards mothers who attend classes focusing on immunization and preventative care for infants and children. Currently, Ms. Thomas serves on the Investment Committee and the Campaign Planning Committee for the Morristown Memorial Health Foundation. Previously, she was on the Board of Trustees and was a member of the Finance Committee for New Eyes for the Needy, an organization that purchases and recycles eyeglasses for less fortunate children and adults.

She is a member of two associations focused on advocacy for women in business, 100 Women in Hedge Funds and 85 Broads and was recently honored as one of New Jersey’s 2010 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBiz Magazine. Ms. Thomas is also very active with her children's sport activities and currently serves on the hockey committee at the Essex Hunt Club and coaches youth hockey.

Managing Director

Robert Ward, Managing Director, joins Massey Quick after a 14 year career with Bank of America. When Bob joined Bank of America he managed three different branches before joining the US Trust Wealth Management Team in 1999. While working with US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management Bob started and ended his time there as a Private Client Advisor. As an Advisor, Bob was responsible for new client acquisition, managing client relationships and mentoring junior team members.

Bob holds many professional designations and has attended numerous wealth and marketing management classes. He has successfully passed a rigorous 3 month Wealth Planning designation offered through US Trust.

Only 35% of the participants in this program completed it successfully. In addition Bob has attended several week long Cannon Wealth Planning classes, a Sales and Marketing Strategy Class at The Darden School of Business, UVA and an advanced Investment Management Training Class at Stanford Universities School of Business.

While at the Bank of America, Bob held several different management roles and was consistently recognized by the organization for outstanding achievements. Prior to joining the bank, Bob held several different sales and marketing positions over a nine year period with Garden Way, Inc.

Bob is an active member in the community in which he lives and works. He is currently a member of the Corporate Leadership Council for Family Service of Morris County and the former President of Project Acorn, a non-profit organization which seeds preschool education for families in Morris County NJ. In addition to his board involvement Bob is very active with his children's sport programs and has been a coach for the soccer, hockey and baseball programs.

Christopher B. Moore, CFP, performance-based reporting

Director

As Director and Co-Head of Manager Research, Mr. Moore is responsible for the sourcing and ongoing due diligence of investment managers. He contributes to the development of the firm's proprietary model for quantifying risk and measuring performance. Mr. Moore also serves as a client Relationship Manager focusing primarily on the firm’s larger relationships, including the foundations and endowments. He provides guidance on asset allocation and portfolio construction, risk/return analysis, audit and investment committee support, and comprehensive financial planning solutions.

He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner in November 2007 after passing the CFP® Certification Examination in November 2006. He completed Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Program for Financial Planners in 2006 and earned a Wealth Management Specialist designation in 2005.

Mr. Moore started in the wealth management business as the sixth employee at Massey Quick soon after the firm's inception. He was responsible for the portfolio accounting and performance reporting system while supporting the manager research and relationship management teams.

Prior to joining Massey Quick & Co., LLC, Mr. Moore began his career in the financial services industry working for Aon Risk Services as a licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer servicing middle to large market corporations in the Northeast.

Mr. Moore graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a BA degree and a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science.

He is an alumni interviewer for the College of the Holy Cross and assists in annual fundraising as a Class Agent for Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ. He is actively involved in fundraising and support in the fight against breast cancer through both the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance in the Executive MBA Program at Columbia Business School.

Chief Operating Officer/Director

Mark DeLotto has served as the Chief Operating Officer of Massey Quick & Co. since joining the firm in April 2007. As a Director at MQ, his duties include primary responsibility over Finance and Operations, while contributing to technology, compliance, infrastructure, strategic development and business planning.

Prior to joining Massey Quick & Co., LLC, Mark assisted in overall supervision of the Office of Supervisory (OSJ) for Northern New Jersey Market of Banc of America Investment Services Inc. He supervised, mentored, and coached over 40 financial advisors and sales assistants in this role. As a licensed principal, Mark attained NASD Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 4 (Registered Options Principal), and Series 53 (Municipal Securities Principal) designations. He established excellent rapport with Financial Advisors while maintaining a high standard of firm compliance and regulatory responsibility.

Mr. DeLotto began his career with Fleet/Quick & Reilly in 2003 as a Financial Advisor. Working for Banc of America Investment Services, Inc. he attained NASD Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 66 (NASAA Uniform Combined State Law Exam), and New Jersey Life and Health Insurance Producer Licenses. He managed and serviced client assets and was selected to partner with a successful team of advisors in 2005.

Mr. DeLotto graduated from Villanova University School of Business with a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. He was an active member of The Villanova School of Business and served as a mentor in the Commerce and Finance Counselor program. As a graduate of the Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ, he serves a class representative in the Alumni Association and assists with annual fundraising.

Ms. Salvo joined Massey, Quick & Co. at the firm's founding in 2004. She is currently a Director, with responsibility for client relationship management and financial planning. Ms. Salvo works with clients in the areas of investing, wealth preservation and cash flow management. She liaises with clients' accountants, attorneys and other professionals to identify appropriate tax and retirement planning strategies, as well as generational transfer strategies. Additionally, Ms. Salvo specializes in identifying and maximizing financial planning opportunities that arise as a result of divorce.

Ms. Salvo became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner in September 2007 and earned a Certified Divorce Financial AnalystTM designation in December 2009. She completed Boston University's Program for Financial Planners in 2006 and earned a Wealth Management Specialist designation in 2004. Ms. Salvo is also a New Jersey Notary Public.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Ms. Salvo began her career in the financial services industry as a Trading Assistant with Deutsche Bank (formerly National Discount Brokers Group). During her time there, she earned FINRA Series 7 and 55 certifications. Ms. Salvo also spent five years as a fundraiser and event planner, first with the Gimbel MS Center at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck and later with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of North Jersey.

Ms. Salvo holds a BA degree in English from Hartwick College where she maintained a consistent Dean's List status and received the Saxon Fellow Award for excellence in English and American Literature studies. While there, she was elected to the English Honor Society, taught composition classes and served as a writing tutor. Ms. Salvo was also a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, a professional music fraternity for women. Ms. Salvo currently volunteers as a mentor for the New Jersey Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and enjoys fundraising for The March of Dimes and local Humane Society.

Mr. Storz began his career at Massey Quick in July, 2007. He initially focused on supporting the client service, manager research, administration and finance areas. Presently, as a Director at MQ, his primary responsibilities include managing client relationships, business development and strategic planning.

Mr. Storz is also responsible for investor relations, marketing, operations, finance and management of the Massey Quick Absolute Return Fund, a multi-strategy Fund of Funds. As a member of the fund investment committee, he is actively involved in manager selection, portfolio allocation and the strategic outlook of the fund.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Mr. Storz devoted three years as a teacher, coach and admissions officer at the Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ. From 2001-2004, Fred worked as a Financial Analyst, with a focus on accounting, in the Information, Systems, & Technology department at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ in Newark, NJ. In the summer of 2000, Mr. Storz interned with the Sales & Trading group at Allen & Co, Inc., a boutique investment bank focused on Media and Technology.

In 2001, Mr. Storz graduated from Williams College with a BA in Political Science and a concentration in International Relations/Asian Studies. Fred was a four year starter and letter winner on the football team and continues to hold the NESCAC record for most touchdowns and points in a single season. Mr. Storz is a Class Agent for Williams and assists in the raising of funds each year for the annual campaign.

Mr. Storz donates his time and resources to several charitable organizations in the Northern NJ area. Each year he conducts a SSAT review class for Platinum Minds, a not-for-profit focused on the educational advancement of disadvantaged youth from the inner cities. Also, he actively supports Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.

Kip supports the manager due diligence and operational teams for the firm. He is responsible for maintaining the qualitative and quantitative manager databases.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Kip worked at Bank of America in sales of consumer residential mortgages and construction loans, counseling and providing financing solutions to clients.

Kip graduated in 2005 from Lehigh University with a B.S. from the College of Business and Economics. Upon graduation, Kip obtained his M.B.A. from Bryant University with a concentration in Finance.

Kip is an avid ice hockey player and also enjoys golfing, hunting, surfing and tennis.

Larissa A. Mintschenko

Analyst

Larissa joined Massey Quick in June 2009. She is a member of the relationship management team and works closely with the Partners and Relationship Managers to provide the highest level of service to our clients. In addition, Larissa coordinates monthly investments with our clients and managers. She is also responsible for office management, organizing events, and serving as our marketing liaison.

Larissa received a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey with a major in Finance and minor in Mathematics while maintaining a Dean’s List status. During college, she held a variety of executive board positions in Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. These positions included Vice President of Finance and Fundraising where she raised, managed, and invested the finances of the organization.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Larissa interned in the Private Investors Operations Group of BlackRock, Inc. At BlackRock, she was responsible for reconciling trades, creating metrics, and training fellow employees. Throughout her career, she also worked in wealth management where she has monitored client investments, spearheaded strategic marketing efforts, and gained valuable wealth management experience.

Outside of work, Larissa is an advanced pianist and does volunteer work for local organizations. She will begin a Financial Planning Program in September 2010 to obtain her CFP® certification.

Robert J. Wojtowicz, risk management

Analyst

Robert joined Massey Quick in August 2009. He is responsible for assisting the relationship management and operations teams at Massey Quick. In this role, Robert works closely with the Partners and Relationship Managers in ensuring we are providing the highest level of service to our clients. He is also responsible for reviewing and reconciling all client statements on a daily basis.

Robert joined Massey Quick after graduating magna cum laude from Villanova University with a major in Finance. During his time at Villanova, Robert acted as Co-President of the school’s Entrepreneur Society, spent significant time playing intramural sports, completed a semester abroad program in Rome, Italy, and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Robert completed two summer internships in the client service division of Robeco-Sage, a multi-strategy fund of hedge funds manager. There he assisted in the firm’s marketing, investment documentation, and monthly reporting activities.

Jeffrey (JJ) G. Zak, investment management firm

Analyst

JJ joined Massey Quick in February 2010. He is responsible for assisting the relationship management and manager research teams at Massey Quick. In this role, JJ works closely with the Partners and Relationship Managers in ensuring we are providing the highest level of service to our clients. He is also responsible for supporting manager research, selection and due diligence.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, JJ was an analyst with the Sidus IV Credit Opportunity Fund, where he reviewed basic credit fundamentals on high yield and investment grade convertible bonds.

JJ graduated in 2009 from Princeton University with a B.A. in Economics. He was an officer at the Colonial Club during his junior and senior years. He held summer internships at JPMorgan in Investment Banking and Bank of New York in Fixed Income Sales and Trading.

At Delbarton School, JJ was a National Merit Commended Scholar, a Bloustein Distinguished Scholar and was admitted to the prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts. JJ also captained the Tennis team and achieved All-State honors.

Outside of work, JJ enjoys tennis, painting, watching sports and the outdoors.

Sean Kaplan, investment management firm

Analyst

Sean joined Massey Quick in May 2010. He is responsible for assisting the relationship management and operations teams at Massey Quick. Sean’s duties include participating in the review and reconciliation of client investments in the internal portfolio accounting system, as well as supporting the COO in the areas of finance, operations and compliance.

Prior to joining Massey Quick, Sean completed an internship in the client service division of Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC. There, he assisted a financial planner with fund research, investment documentation, and monthly reporting activities. Sean was also an intern with Massey Quick for two consecutive summers. His duties included manager analysis for the Manager Research department, creating and editing presentations for money managers and clients, organizing a database of information on funds, money managers, and clients, and participating in weekly company meetings, client meetings, and fund presentations.

Sean graduated from Loyola University in Maryland with a major in Finance. During his time at Loyola, he participated in the Financial Management Association and was the goaltender for the Greyhounds Club ice hockey team. He also graduated with high honors from the Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ, where he was a member of the 2006 state championship ice hockey team.
